The Pure Clean XL 1500 Watt Rolling Steam Cleaner is a heavy-duty canister steam cleaner that weighs around 10-pounds, is approximately 15.7″ x 11″ x 13″ and comes with 18-accessories. Sounds good, so far but does it have the power to tackle some of my toughest cleaning jobs? Well, the only true way to find out is to overlook all of the prevailing canister steam cleaner reviews and test it out for myself.
Judging just from the above description, you probably already have realized that this unit is lightweight, fairly compact and easy to move around the house. It also comes with a 16-foot power cord – which is really the length I need as I go from room-to-room. However, since nothing nowadays is perfect, this long power cord is offset by a hose and extension that was a little bit on the short side. Oh well, I guess you can’t have everything.
Some of the accessories it came with included Mop Head, triangle brush, steam jet nozzle, 2 micro-fiber mop pads, 5 nylon utility brushes, a brass utility brush, a scrub pad, 2 extension wands, a measuring cup, a squeegee and a funnel.
Once I filled it with water and started it up, it was ready with hot steam in about 10-minutes. I then proceeded to take it on a few chores. I cleaned the grease around my stove, I cleaned a small patch of grout in the bathroom and I refreshed my carpet. And with all tasks, this unit did a great job.
All in all, I think I got about 45-minutes of steam, give or take, out of this unit. And throughout the cleaning process, the steam stayed pretty darn hot. It’s not the most powerful unit I’ve ever used but it is still a really good one.
This is a very good steam cleaner that’s reasonably priced, has a nice assortment of accessories and is very easy-to-use. It’s definitely one that I enjoyed using and would recommend it to my friends without hesitation.
